Bodé Aboderin is a Nigerian-born British business leader, author, and creative entrepreneur who helps organisations rethink leadership, identity, reinvention, and workplace culture.
After more than a decade managing multi-million-pound Tier 1 construction portfolios, Bodé left corporate leadership to build ventures spanning publishing, talent management, media, and production. He is co-founder of Undeniable Productions, the company behind Conversations with Candice, and author of Fatherhood by Papa B, published by DK and Penguin Random House in 2022.
Bodé's work bridges corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and family life, helping organisations navigate conversations around modern masculinity, identity and inclusion. He combines commercial discipline with cultural insight, offering practical perspectives on leadership beyond traditional corporate structures.
Audiences leave his sessions with clearer thinking around intentional career development, healthier communication around masculinity, identity, and presence at work, and practical tools for building cultures where people perform at their best.
Book Bodé for practical insight shaped by real commercial and personal transformation.
Bodé brings an honest perspective on masculinity, fatherhood, and identity in the workplace that resonates across audiences. He speaks with warmth and credibility, opening conversations that last well beyond the room.
Topics, Sessions And Talks
The dominant narratives around Black British fatherhood remain narrow, and Bodé Aboderin has spent the better part of a decade challenging them. Drawing on Fatherhood by Papa B and his own experience raising a family in the public eye, this session examines where those narratives come from, why they persist, and what a more honest, more complete picture looks like. It is a session as relevant to HR and DEI leaders as it is to the men in the room it speaks to most directly.
Bodé Aboderin grew up with one set of scripts around fatherhood and masculinity, and spent his adult life rewriting them. This session draws directly on the journey behind Fatherhood by Papa B to explore what modern fatherhood actually demands of men: emotional presence, identity flexibility, and the willingness to lead at home with the same intentionality they bring to work. Honest, warm, and grounded in lived experience, it opens conversations that most professional environments rarely make room for.
What does it actually cost to show up fully at work when the culture was not built with you in mind? Bodé Aboderin explores the relationship between identity and leadership through the lens of his own experience as a Black British man navigating corporate Britain, entrepreneurship, and public life simultaneously. The session moves beyond surface-level inclusion conversations to examine what genuine belonging requires of leaders, and what it unlocks in the people they lead.
Bodé Aboderin did not fall into reinvention. He chose it. After more than a decade managing multi-million pound portfolios in construction, he walked away from a senior corporate career to build something entirely on his own terms. This session unpacks that decision honestly, covering the commercial logic, the personal cost, and the practical framework that made it work. For audiences navigating change, whether by choice or circumstance, it offers something more useful than inspiration: a repeatable way of thinking.
