As a former athlete, Lord Coe was famed for his election in 2012 as chairman of the British Olympic Association and is also president of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF). Coe continues to make history, being recently unanimously re-elected as IAAF president in 2019, owing to his life passion for the industry.
Lord Coe began his athletics career at the age of 12, proving himself as an athlete to be taken seriously when he won the 800m sprint at the European Indoor Championship. He has since left a legacy of eight world records behind him, making three world records in just 41 days in 1979. Coe’s widely publicised competitive rivalry with Steve Ovett, a fellow British track athlete, kept the public on the edge of their seats for much of the 1980s.
As well as firmly establishing himself as a world-renowned athlete, Coe has held several senior positions, including executive chairman of CSM sports & entertainment marketing agency.
The four-time Olympic medallist has proven his talents on and off the track; Coe entered politics in 1992 when he was elected as a Conservative member of Parliament for Falmouth and Camborne. Some years later he was elevated to the House of Lords and created a life peer in 2000.
Coe has received recognition for his impressive career; he was made OBE in 1991, as well as KBE in 2006. In the same year that he was made chair of the British Olympic Association, Coe won the Lifetime Achievement award at BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Coe studied at the University of Loughborough and in 2012, was appointed Pro-Chancellor of the university.

- If you already have someone in mind, that’s okay too; just let us know their name! Even if they aren't listed publicly on our website, we have a huge network and work with almost everyone.
- Once you've reviewed our speaker propsal and have selected and expert shortlist, we'll double check availability and fees with your chosen expert.
- You're welcome to have a chemistry call with the speaker before making the final decision, too.
- Next, we'll send out contracts to confirm the booking. One of our experienced event producers will liase with both you and the talent on the finer details, and arrange travel if necessary, taking the stress off your plate.

While the speakers listed on our website may not have worked with PepTalk in the past, they are recognized professionals in the industry and known to engage in similar events and engagements. We work with a wide variety of speaker agents and talent agencies to ensure we have the best selection of speakers, hosts, comedians and entertainers available.

We work with speakers across a variety of fee ranges, giving you the flexibility to choose someone who fits your event's needs. Virtual keynote fees in the UK and Europe typically start at £2,000, while in-person top-tier speakers can reach £25,000. In the US, virtual in-person fees range from $5,000 to over $100,000, depending on the speaker and format, such as after-dinner talks, conference keynotes, Q&As, or podcasts. Comedians generally start at £1,500 or $2,000 for a 20-minute set.
