His acting career began early, influenced by his father, the renowned film director John Boorman. Charley appeared in "Deliverance" and continued acting in various projects. He met Ewan McGregor, who became his co-adventurer in the "Long Way Round" and "Long Way Down" series.
In 2004, Charley and Ewan embarked on "Long Way Round," a motorcycle journey from London to New York through Europe and Asia. This series gained worldwide acclaim and became a bestseller. During this time, Charley also became a UNICEF ambassador, visiting numerous projects featured in his shows. He participated in the Dakar rally, which led to the "Race to Dakar" series. Although he did not finish due to injuries, he supported his teammate Simon Pavey, and the show was well-received.
In 2007, Charley and Ewan undertook "Long Way Down," travelling from John O’Groats in Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa. Ewan's wife joined part of the journey, adding complexity, but Charley embraced the situation, demonstrating that adventure is accessible to everyone.
In 2008, Charley set off on a solo journey titled "By Any Means," starting in Wicklow and ending in Sydney, Australia. He travelled using various local transport methods, including boats and elephants. The following year, he continued this adventure focusing on motorbikes, riding from Sydney to Tokyo and inviting fellow bikers to join him along the way.
Today, Charley has produced numerous adventure travel shows and was a runner-up in Celebrity MasterChef. Charley's cheeky, energetic nature makes him enjoyable to be around and always ready to engage with fans.

- If you already have someone in mind, that’s okay too; just let us know their name! Even if they aren't listed publicly on our website, we have a huge network and work with almost everyone.
- Once you've reviewed our speaker propsal and have selected and expert shortlist, we'll double check availability and fees with your chosen expert.
- You're welcome to have a chemistry call with the speaker before making the final decision, too.
- Next, we'll send out contracts to confirm the booking. One of our experienced event producers will liase with both you and the talent on the finer details, and arrange travel if necessary, taking the stress off your plate.

While the speakers listed on our website may not have worked with PepTalk in the past, they are recognized professionals in the industry and known to engage in similar events and engagements. Virtual keynote fees in the UK and Europe typically start at £2,000, while in-person top-tier speakers can reach £25,000. In the US, virtual in-person fees range from $5,000 to over $100,000, depending on the speaker and format, such as after-dinner talks, conference keynotes, Q&As, or podcasts. Comedians generally start at £1,500 or $2,000 for a 20-minute set.
